R&D Qualifications And Equipments

We have 3 R&D centers worldwide, including 2 in Pennsylvania and California, and 1 in Shanghai, China.

At present, there are more than 30 technical personnel in Shanghai R&D center, who are equipped with high education and high quality talent reserve for all aspects of battery, such as electrochemistry and materials.Most of them have more than 10 years of experience in the industry.

Shanghai R&D Center has been the first to launch UPS batteries since 1999, and has advanced electrical laboratory and material laboratory. The electrical laboratory has been certified by Intertek Satellite Laboratory, which has strong material and battery testing ability, testing range covers all aspects of batteries and battery components.Examples include scanning electron microscopes that can test microstructure, spectrometers that can test PPB (parts per billion), and full-fledged battery performance laboratories.In order to provide better service to customers in the data center, Ciendi also added one 250kW simulation tester in 2013 and 2018 respectively, which can simulate UPS applications in the data center and provide customers with high-power battery group acceptance test.
